Get Ready for Serious Training
We’re a 43,000-square-foot facility where you physically maneuver through buildings, around street corners and other staged environments where dangerous scenarios unfold.
Test your situational awareness and decision-making skills in crisis situations, then grab a bite at the Mess Hall or hang out in the Rec Room before hitting the shooting range, competition room or another scenario.
Take a moment to explore the steps below to get the most out of your D-TAC visit:
1. Register at the Front Desk
Upon arrival, verify your signed WAIVER (text link to waiver) at the front desk. You will receive your personal dog tag with a unique QR code. This dog tag allows you to access the scenarios and review your performance for each individual virtual shooting simulator scenario you navigate. The dog tag is yours to keep, so you’ll only need to register once. NOTE: NO LIVE WEAPONS.
2. Get Armed
Once you cleanly pass through the locked-gate metal detector system, an Armorer will issue your recoiling sim gun. Test your gun in one of the Armory’s bullet traps. These sim guns feature realistic recoil and sound. Pepper spray is also available as an alternative for most scenarios.
3. Hit the Shooting Range, Scenarios or Competition Course
Once you are issued your sim gun, you are free to experience one of our scenarios or hone your shooting skills at the Shooting Range and the Competition Course.
4. Review Your Performance
Review your videos, shots and stats at the After Action Review (AAR) Center to evaluate your performance and improve your skills. You’ll also receive a personal highlight reel for bragging rights or to help us get the word out so more people support our mission.
