Mike is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from the U.S. Border Patrol serving almost 23 years. Mike was a certified Firearms Instructor since 2008 and an Active Shooter instructor since 2012. Mike also served with FBI on the Joint Terrorism Task Force for 7 years in Orlando, FL. His dedication to protecting our nation, state, and local community has been his mission and has followed the U.S. Coast Guard motto “Semper Paratus” (Always Ready) and the U.S. Border Patrol motto “Honor First”.
During retirement, Mike attended a free event at Decision Tactical and fell in love with the Save Lives and Bridge Divides motto and soon joined the Decision Tactical Family. Mike became a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor allowing him to teach firearms safety and training to the community that he loves.
Mike enjoys spending time with his family and is proud of his step-son serving in the Florida State Guard. He is an avid Football and Hockey fan, a licensed Realtor, loves to travel, rides motorcycles, and enjoys cigars and a fine bourbons while hanging out with his Goldendoodle, Sir Lou!
