Are you open to the public?
Yes! While we train law enforcement (includes SWAT, DEA, Sheriff Offices, etc), we are also open to the public. You will never experience anything like Decision Tactical!!
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday 5pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight, and Sunday from 11am to 10pm. Note that the last armory experiences on Friday and Saturday are run at 11pm.
Where are you located?
430 Towne Center, Sanford, FL 32771
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are not required, but they are highly encouraged, especially for groups of 6 or more! A reservation will prevent a possible wait, as each of our experiences are slotted for specific timing throughout the day. You can make a reservation here. While you are at it, go ahead and reserve a time before or after your shooting experience for some of our delicious food and drinks and our restaurant! Save some time by pre-registering here. A completed registration form is required to purchase any armory experiences.
Can I bring my dog?
We welcome service animals in compliance with federal regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities throughout our facility, but cannot enter any of the armory experiences to ensure the safety of the service animal.. Service animals must be under control at all times. They should be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective means. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, or pets are not considered service animals under federal law and are not allowed in the facility.
Armory
Are there any age restrictions to participating in the experiences?
While we do not place an age restriction on participating, we do suggest participants be 7 years of age or older. Parental guidance is recommended. If you have any questions on the appropriateness of an experience for your child, please speak to a Captain at that Armory to learn more about the experiences. Children 12 and younger do require parents to be with them while in the armory.
All ages are welcome in the restaurant, though anyone under 21 may not sit at the bar. All children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian in the building at all times.
Do I need to be a member?
No! But we do have monthly options available. They are a great opportunity to explore other courses and improve your skills. Find out more about our monthly membership options here https://decisiontactical.com/monthly-memberships/
Can two people share an experience?
We encourage it! Our experiences are run best as duos (two people). You will still have a great time running solo, but you get more laughs, props, and memories running with a buddy.
Can I bring my own firearm and ammunition?
Live firearms are not permitted in the experience area. We do provide a complimentary locker for personal items during your time here.
I’ve never shot a gun before – does that matter?
No! Our team is on standby to show you how to hold and reload your simulation firearm. We encourage and promote safety practices that are relevant to a live firearm, but require no prior experience.
I’m an experienced shooter, will I be challenged?
Yes! Your training is always evolving and learning never ends. Decision Tactical provides an immersive experience environment which will challenge you to assess and interact with an environment that is responding to your lead, and unique each time.
What should I wear?
While we do not have a dress code, we encourage casual comfortable clothes, and closed toe shoes.
What if I don’t want to participate in any of the shooting experiences?
That’s OK! Decision Tactical has a full bar and kitchen, cornhole setup, pool tables, and dart boards available. AND, we encourage you to watch (and record!) your friends!
Can I take photos?
Yes! And we encourage it! Remember to post them on your socials with @DecisionTactical
Will any health restrictions prevent my access?
Not recommended for pregnant women or those with sensitivity to flashing lights. While alcohol is permitted in the shooting range area, anyone observed as being intoxicated will be asked to leave the experience area.
Can someone with a prior felony on their record still participate?
People with felonies are advised to limit their experiences to the use of pepper spray to ensure they don’t violate any laws. Tactical and advanced firearms training classes by Decision Tactical staff require a background check and prohibits participation by felons.
Packages and Purchasing
Can I buy Armory packages online?
Yes! You can buy packages online here. Please note that a dog tag is required to participate.
I already have a dog tag, do I get a discount on the packages? Do I need to still pay the $5 when buying new packages?
We love to hear that you are returning for more fun! Your dog tag can be used for all of your return visits, no need to buy another one. There are no discounts for utilizing your dog tag on future packages – don’t worry, you’re still getting the best pricing available!
Are there any Shoot AND Eat packages?
Everyone who purchases a shooting package is eligible for special food add-on pricing! Our Hungry add-on includes 1 food item plus a drink (beer, house wine or soda) for only $15 and our Hangry add-up bumps that to 2 Food items!
Can I pick and choose what experiences I want to do and in what order?
Of course! However, we highly recommend starting with Range Basics, followed by the House scenario, and then when you are all done with the other experiences, wrapping up with the Comp Course! Note that our reservation system is built for this flow. You are still welcome to spend your time how you would like, but be aware that it may mean a little longer wait time between experiences.
Can I book my birthday party, corporate team building event, holiday party, etc. at Decision Tactical?
Absolutely! We would love to have you here to celebrate important life events with you, or just to give your company the best holiday or team building experience they have ever had! We do have special event pricing for groups of 20 or more. For more information, please contact events[at]decisiontactical.com.
Is your group smaller than 20? No problem, we would love to still have you and can help you through the reservation line at (407) 205-2045.

Service Animals
What is the definition of a service animal?
A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Tasks may include guiding individuals who are blind, alerting individuals who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, or performing other specific tasks. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Are there any restricted areas for service animals?
No, we will not ask for documentation, require the service animal to demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the individual’s disability. However, staff may ask two specific questions:
- Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
Can a service animal be removed from the facility?
Yes, a service animal may be removed if:
- It is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it.
- It is not housebroken.
If a service animal is removed, we will still provide our services to the individual without the animal present.
Are there any restricted areas for service animals?
Service animals are generally allowed in all areas open to the public. However, if there is a legitimate safety concern, certain areas may have restrictions. If this occurs, we will make every effort to accommodate both the individual and the service animal.
